A personal and upbeat approach with an attentive, thoughtful, professional and assured style.

As an artist, wife and mother, I bring a comfortable and thoughtful approach to my work. Carabell was established in 2000, offering print design services and digital photo restoration. I’m happy to say that I still have clients from those first days!

I rekindled my love of photography, having learned how to shoot with film and process in the darkroom in college, when I received my first digital camera as a wedding gift in 2001. In 2004, after several years of diligently learning the digital side of photography, I decided it was high time to add photography to my Carabell services. I’ve expanded into portraits, real estate property, and events including horse shows and fundraisers.

Currently, my nature and macro photography is displayed locally at the Artist Gallery in the Picker Building at Dover's One Washington Street Mill building (Fall 2011), Fiddleheads (Dover, NH) and Kathleen’s Korner in Portsmouth; in NH Homes Magazine and on PortsmouthNH.com. I’ve  also received recognition for my photography featured on Popular Photography’s Photo of the Day. I’m really excited about another accomplishment, my photography has been published in the book, Sorry I Pooped in Your Shoe by Jeremy Greenberg (Fall 2011).

Style

My work has been described as “Bright, Pure and Connected”. Capturing the play between light and shadows, the sunshine’s warm glow on a child’s face, or the unique bond between horse and rider are just a few of the things I love to do in my photography.  I’m passionate about photography and creating images that come from the heart. My goal has always been to provide excellent customer service and to create a relaxed and memorable experience for all involved.
